Celebrity Judges to Pick New Mr. Asia USA 2007, on Saturday at the Emerald Night Ball

A panel of celebrity judges will select the new Mr. Asia USA for 2007 on Saturday, April 7 at a fundraiser sponsored by Kasetsart University Alumni of the USA.

This star-studded event to be held a the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California, will donate 100% of the profits to the AIDS Temple, a free hospice for HIV/AIDS victims in Thailand.

Entertainment will include a fashion show as well as vocalists, and the pageant is expected to be a great success. The World Monitor will have correspondents and photographers in place to bring our readers full coverage of the event.

Celebrity judges include: Nick Verreos (Project Runway), Sunkrish Bala (Notes from the Underbelly) Reggie Lee (Pirates of the Carribean), Leilene Onrade (VH1's Charmed School), David Ren (Director of Shanghai Kiss), Vanessa Ann Hudgens(High School Musical 2), Sean Michael Afable (Akeelah and the Bee), Kellan Lutz (The Tribe), Camille Mana (Smart People), James Kyson Lee (Heroes), Sharon Nash (Executive Producer, America's Got Talent), Brandon Molale (Reno 911), Michelle Krusiec (Live!), Janelle So (KSCI TV Host)as well as writer-producer Michel Din and others.

Thirty candidates will compete for the Title of Mr. Asia USA 2007, and the winner will receive a $1,500.00 cash prize, the crown, and a year of acting classes at Michael John Studio. Other prizes will be awarded to the runners up as well as awards to contestants who are selected as Super Model, Super Star, Mr. Photogenic, and Mr. Popularity.
