Bush Expected To Try to "Put Perfume on the Pig", in Tonite's Speech-Editorial Opinion

It is widely reported, that George Bush is expected to reveal a plan in a nationally televised speech tonite that would allow the National Guard to assist the U. S. Border Patrol in the apprehension of illegal aliens along the U. S.-Mexico Border; this, after years of neglect by his administration to provide meaningful assistance to impacted American States, which border Mexico.

This new initiative, has undoubtedly been motivated by Mr. Bush's sinking poll numbers, and the foul aroma of his proposed guest-worker program, which has been supported by his agri-business, construction, and other low-wage, union-busting related contributors, as well as, the illegals themselves.

It will be interesting to see how the American Public reacts to his attempt at "base shoring" this evening.
